Although I celebrated  “Women’s History Month” last month; there is no reason to NOT celebrate women in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction Industries AGAIN!

The architecture profession, and the architecture press in particular, tends to highlight the architects and the projects that make the biggest splashes and produce the best photos.

This architect designed buildings that created 40,000 apartment units. This made a difference in the lives of many people and families over many years; and will continue to do so, because most of these apartments still exist and are still in use.

Not splashy … but definitely significant!
