A METROPOLITAN MUSEUM ADVENTURE!
I know that i have written about Paul Rudolph several times before, but he seems to be in the news quite a bit recently. Also his work is currently on display at the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art.
AND … i went to see it last week!
The exhibit consists mostly of renderings of his work; some built and some not. They are however very large, very precise, and drawn… in ink … by Rudolph himself. ….. VERY impressive.

P.S. if you search for Paul Rudolph on The Architect’s Newspaper website you will find many articles about this interesting architect and his work.
A METROPOLITAN TRAVEL ADVENTURE?
In a move not unlike holiday decorations, Loius Vuitton has decorated a Manhattan building to look like a stack of their iconic luxury luggage.
The wrap is designed to mask construction of a new flagship store on east 57th street, but i think they are just trying to one up Macy’s holiday tradition!

A TECHNOLOGICAL ADVENTURE?
A family tradition will growing up was to venture into the downtown and view the holiday windows and lights.
This technology, though used for a completely different purpose, reminds me of those holiday displays.
